Differin

One of the popularly prescribed acne gels, Differin claims to work under the skin and at the source of the problem. They offer 2 different gels in concentrations of 0.1% and 0.3% as well as a cream in the concentration of 0.1%. the 0.3% is for those with “more challenging acne” while the two 0.1% formulas are for regular acne or for those with more sensitive skin. Its main ingredient is similar to vitamin A, but is called adapalene.

Side effects of Differing can include allergic reactions, redness, dryness, scaly skin, burning, stinging, itching, and irritation. As such, there is also a long list of individuals who should not be using this solution, even though it is not an oral supplement. The good thing about prescriptions is that most of the time they do work. However, the bads include side effects, high costs, inconvenience, etc.
