The Mario Badescu Acne Control Kit includes a facial cleanser, a cucumber lotion, a drying mask, a drying cream, and a drying lotion, they claim everything you need to keep your skin clear and clean. They do tell you that their formula is based on salicylic acid, but that’s it.
Salicylic acid basically encourages the skin to renew itself and shed dead skin cells for skin clearing effects. In higher concentrations, it has even been used outside of acne for more serious conditions. However, like any other effective product, it requires a certain concentration to be effective, and it is highly doubtful that Mario Badescu Acne Control Kit uses that amount.
